forests & apple orchards, along
a ridge between Craignanoo ( Coots
Garden ) & Baldeyan, is Koti Resort.
The Resort is 15 Kms further from
Shimla, on the Mashobra-Naldhera Golf
ground road, at a height of 6385 feet
above sea level. It has a spectacular
360 degree panoramic view, of the
Himalayas, the Shali peak, jungle
of Craignanoo, greens of Naldhera
& Shimla. What started as an idea
to make a family getaway culminated
into a family Resort.
Accommodation
The Resort designed as a Swiss Chalet
in 1992, has 40 elegantly furnished
spacious rooms. Built along a central
lawn, each room is individually designed
in such a way that it offers a breathtaking
view of the forest aglow with the
setting sun. Gently draw the curtains
& nature transports you into the
timeless world of peace & tranquility.
Dining
The dining hall with its majestic
setting lends enchantment to a cozy
meal. Its sun decks are an ideal place
to enjoy a lazy late morning breakfast.
The Resort serves Indian, Chinese,
Continental & Mexican cuisine.

Palace has an impressive history dating
right back to 1866 when Sir William
Mansfield, Commander-in-Chief of the
Imperial Army became the first resident
of this charming and picturesque estate.
It was later acquired by His Highness
Maharaja Bhagvat Sinh of Gondal State
in Western Indian as a gift for his
daughter, Rani Leila Ba of Jubbal State.
Her husband, Raja Rana Sir Bhagat Chand
tore down the old structure and constructed
a new building in 1938. Hundreds of
expert artisans were commissioned to
ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship.
Rajkumar Uday Singh, grandson of the
Raja Sahib opened a part of the mansion
as a small hotel in April, 1977. Today,
the palace is one of the classiest places
to stay in Shimla.
Woodville Palace is spread over 4 acres
of lush greenery and enveloped by towering
deodar and pine forests. It provides
billiards, snookers, table tennis and
badminton facilities for the sports
lovers. Enjoy a glass of fresh orange
juice or have a chilled beer in the
